DOES ANYONE HERE ACTUALLY STILL EAT DEVILED EGGS ??
Ingredients:
6 large eggs
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon white vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon smoked paprika (plus extra for garnish)
1 teaspoon finely chopped chives (optional)
1 teaspoon sweet relish (optional, for a touch of sweetness)
Directions:
Boil the Eggs:
Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water.
Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let sit for 10-12 minutes.
Transfer eggs to an ice bath and let cool for 5 minutes.
Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
Make the Filling:
Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
Mash yolks with a fork and mix in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, vinegar, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
Stir until smooth and creamy. (For an extra-smooth texture, use a food processor.)
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Fill & Garnish:
Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg whites.
Sprinkle with extra smoked paprika and chopped chives for garnish.
Serve & Enjoy:
Serve immediately or chill for at least 30 minutes for enhanced flavor.
