Cherry Pie Bars Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Dough:
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 4 large eggs
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
For the Filling:
• 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling (or use homemade)
For the Glaze:
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1–2 tablespoons milk
• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. Make the Dough:
• In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
• Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
• Stir in vanilla, then mix in flour and salt until just combined.
3. Assemble:
• Spread 2/3 of the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
• Spoon the cherry pie filling evenly over the dough.
• Drop small spoonfuls of the remaining dough over the top.
4. Bake:
• Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
• Let cool completely in the pan.
5. Drizzle with Glaze:
• Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
• Drizzle over the cooled bars.
6. Cut & Serve:
• Slice into squares or bars and enjoy!
