Spaghetti alle Cozze recipe! 🍝 🦪✨
Ingredients:
• Spaghetti: 12 oz (340 g)
• Mussels: 2 lbs (1 kg), cleaned
• Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
• White wine: ½ cup (120 ml)
• Olive oil: 3 tbsp (45 ml)
• Parsley: 2 tbsp (10 g), chopped
• Red pepper flakes: optional, for spice
• Salt: to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti: Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup (120 ml) of pasta water before draining.
2. Sauté the garlic: Heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook the garlic until fragrant.
3. Steam the mussels: Add the mussels and white wine to the skillet. Cover and cook for 5 minutes, or until the mussels open. Discard any that remain closed.
4. Combine with pasta: Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat. Stir in reserved pasta water if needed.
5. Garnish: Sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes for a kick of spice.
6. Serve: Plate the pasta and enjoy the fresh, garlicky seafood flavors.
