Snowball Cookies with Condensed Milk ❄️🍪✨
These buttery, melt-in-your-mouth snowball cookies are made even richer with sweetened condensed milk—giving them a soft, slightly chewy texture inside while keeping that classic powdered sugar coating! Perfect for holidays, tea time, or whenever you need a sweet, snowy treat.

Ingredients
For the Cookie Dough
1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
½ cup (160g) sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 ¼ cups (280g) all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup (85g) finely chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds – optional)
For Coating
1 ½ cups (180g) powdered sugar
Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Dough
In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sweetened condensed milk together until smooth and creamy.
Mix in vanilla extract.
Gradually add flour and salt, stirring just until combined.
If using, fold in chopped nuts for added crunch and flavor.
Cover and chill the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes (this makes shaping easier).
2️⃣ Shape & Bake
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll the chilled dough into 1-inch balls and place them 1 inch apart on the baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly golden (the tops should stay pale).
Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before handling.
3️⃣ Roll in Powdered Sugar
While the cookies are still warm, roll them in powdered sugar until fully coated.
Let them cool completely, then roll again in powdered sugar for that perfect snowy look!
Tips & Variations
Extra Vanilla? Use vanilla bean paste for a stronger flavor.
Nut-Free? Skip the nuts, or substitute with mini chocolate chips.
Spiced Up? Add ½ teaspoon cinnamon or a pinch of nutmeg for a warm twist.
Storage: Keep in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
