- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 oz fettuccine or your choice of pasta
- 1/4 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped (optional)
- Extra Gorgonzola cheese, for garnish
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Method:
1️⃣ Season the steak strips with salt, black pepper, and minced garlic. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
2️⃣ In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Gorgonzola cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
3️⃣ In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
4️⃣ Add the cooked pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Stir in the fresh spinach and sun-dried tomatoes if using. Plate the pasta and top with the cooked steak strips. Garnish with extra crumbled Gorgonzola cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
