Loaded Beef and Cheddar Cheesesteak with Parmesan Fries

Ingredients:

1 hoagie roll, toasted

8 oz thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1/2 small onion, thinly sliced

2 cups French fries (frozen or fresh)

2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

1/4 tsp garlic powder (for fries)

1/4 tsp paprika (optional, for beef)

Ketchup, for serving

Instructions:

Cook the fries:
Bake or fry French fries according to package directions until golden and crispy. While hot, toss with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt.

Sauté the vegetables:
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook green peppers and onions until soft and lightly caramelized (about 6–8 minutes). Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the beef:
In the same skillet, add sliced beef. Season with salt, pepper, and optional paprika. Sauté until browned and tender, about 2–3 minutes.

Melt the cheese:
Add the sautéed peppers and onions back into the skillet with the beef. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top, cover for 1–2 minutes until cheese is melted and gooey.

Assemble the sandwich:
Load the beef, cheese, and vegetable mixture into the toasted hoagie roll.

Serve:
Plate the cheesesteak alongside the crispy Parmesan fries with a side of ketchup for dipping.

Let me know if you want a version with provolone or a spicy chipotle mayo drizzle too! 🥖🧀🍟🔥
