Creamy Cajun Chicken Linguine

Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
12 oz linguine pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Season the chicken with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
Add the heavy cream and chicken broth to the skillet, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
Add the cooked linguine pasta to the skillet, tossing it in the creamy sauce until well coated.
Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to combine. Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
