Classic Grilled Tandoori Chicken Skewers
Bold Flavors on a Stick: Tandoori Chicken Skewers with a Punchy Yogurt Marinade
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) boneless chicken thighs, cubed
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Salt to taste
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Fresh cilantro for garnish
Bamboo skewers (soaked in water for 30 min)
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, paprika, cumin, garam masala, turmeric, cayenne, salt, and oil.
Add chicken and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Thread chicken onto skewers.
Grill skewers for 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
Serve hot, garnished with cilantro and lemon wedges.
