I love how it turns out- Perfect Creamy Leche Flan (Custard Pie)

Ingredients:
9 egg yolks
1 can evaporated milk
1 can condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp lemon juice
3/4 cup White sugar for caramel

Use: 8 inch round pan

STEPS:

1. Put sugar in a saucepan. Cook and let it caramelize in low heat until golden brown. Pour to your 8-inch pan. Swirl to coat evenly. Set aside and let it cool.

2. In a large mixing bowl, add egg yolks. Add condensed milk and evaporated milk. Whisk or blends using immersion blender slowly to avoid too much bubbles. Then, add vanilla extract and lemon juice.

3. Put the mixture to the pan with caramelized sugar. Use a strainer when you transfer the mixture. Cover with foil to avoid drips.

4. Steam for 50-60 minutes in low heat. Then, turn off fire and let the leche flan inside the steamer for 10 minutes.

5. Remove the leche flan from the steamer. Let it cool and chill for at least 4 hours before serving. Flip the pan on the serving tray, so the caramel will be on the top.

Note: you can also bake bath this at 350F. Bake for 1 hr and 10 minutes.
