CREAMY ONE-PAN CAJUN CHICKEN AND PARMESAN BUTTERED NOODLES
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
12 oz egg noodles
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
Stir in the butter and Parmesan cheese, continuing to stir until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet, tossing them in the sauce to coat evenly.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss everything together to combine.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
