BBQ Ribs & Shrimp Platter
Ingredients
For the Ribs:
2 lbs pork ribs
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup barbecue sauce
For the Shrimp:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp barbecue sauce
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Coleslaw:
2 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp chopped fresh dill
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Fries:
3 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub ribs with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Wrap in foil and bake for 2.5 hours.
Remove foil, brush ribs with barbecue sauce, and broil for 5–7 minutes until caramelized.
Toss shrimp with olive oil, honey, barbecue sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Grill or pan-sear for 2–3 minutes per side until cooked through.
Combine cabbage, carrots, mayo, vinegar, sugar, dill, salt, and pepper for the coleslaw. Chill until serving.
Toss fries in olive oil and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Plate ribs, top with grilled shrimp, and serve with fries, coleslaw, and your favorite drink.
