Ingredients:
12 oz rotini or penne pasta π
1 lb ground beef π₯©
1/2 lb Italian sausage π
1/2 cup pepperoni slices π
1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled π₯
2 cups pizza or marinara sauce π
1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional) π«
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese π§
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese π§
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning πΏ
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder π§
Salt and pepper, to taste π§
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish πΏ
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Meats:
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Season the meat with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Assemble the Casserole:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, pizza sauce, cooked ground beef and sausage, crumbled bacon, and half of the pepperoni slices. If using olives, mix those in as well.
Layer and Top:
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Arrange the remaining pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil or parsley. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
