š®š¹ Spaghetti allāAssassina
A dramatic Apulian pasta dish where spaghetti is ākilledā by frying in a spicy tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
200 g spaghetti
400 g passata (tomato purƩe)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp red chili flakes
3 tbsp olive oil
500 ml water (or vegetable broth)
Salt to taste
Instructions:
1ļøā£ In a pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and chili flakes, sautĆ© for 1 minute.
2ļøā£ Pour in passata and a pinch of salt, cook for 5 minutes.
3ļøā£ Add uncooked spaghetti directly into the sauce, spreading evenly.
4ļøā£ Gradually add water, letting the pasta absorb it slowly while crisping slightly at the bottom.
5ļøā£ Cook until pasta is al dente and slightly charred at spots, about 15 minutes.
6ļøā£ Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh basil.
