🌩️ Thunder Sky Candy Apples 🍏
Ingredients:

6 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
1 bag of caramel candies (about 11 oz)
2 tbsp water
2 cups white candy melts or white chocolate chips
1/2 cup black candy melts
1/2 cup blue candy melts
1/2 cup purple candy melts
Edible silver shimmer dust or edible glitter
Silver edible paint (optional for sticks)
Lollipop sticks or wooden sticks
Edible black food coloring for added depth
Directions:

Prepare the Apples:
Wash and dry the apples thoroughly to remove any wax. Insert a lollipop or wooden stick into the top of each apple. You can paint the sticks with edible silver paint to add the shimmering metallic look you see in the image.

Melt the Caramel:
In a medium saucepan, melt the caramel candies with 2 tbsp of water over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth. Dip each apple into the melted caramel, allowing the excess to drip off. Place the caramel-coated apples on a sheet of parchment paper and let them cool completely.

Create the Base Coat:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white candy melts (or white chocolate chips) until smooth, according to the package instructions. Dip the caramel-covered apples into the white candy melt, coating them completely. Set them on parchment paper and allow them to set.

Prepare the Thunder Sky Effect:
In separate bowls, melt the black, blue, and purple candy melts until smooth. Using a clean toothpick or skewer, swirl the colors lightly together in a shallow dish or plate to create a marbled effect. Be careful not to over-mix, as you want the colors to remain distinct but flow together for a “sky” effect.

Coat the Apples with Thunder Sky Colors:
Roll each caramel-coated apple through the marbled candy melts. Rotate the apples as you dip to achieve an even blend of the blue, purple, and black colors across the surface, mimicking the appearance of a stormy sky.

Draw the Thunder Streaks:
Once the apples are coated, dip a thin brush into edible silver shimmer dust and draw jagged, lightning-like streaks across the surface of the candy coating. You can also dust the apples with additional edible glitter for an extra sparkle that mimics stars in the sky.

Set the Apples:
Place the coated apples on parchment paper and allow them to set completely. Once the candy coating is firm, the apples are ready to display or serve.

Optional Finish:
To add more details, you can further enhance the silver streaks by using a small brush with edible silver paint to create more defined thunderbolts. You can also add small edible stars or shimmer dust around the apple for a celestial effect.

Tips:

To achieve the exact swirl pattern you want, practice with the marbling technique on parchment paper first to see how the colors blend together.
Ensure the apples are cold when dipping to help the candy coating set faster.
