🦪 Cozze al Vapore (Steamed Mussels)
Cozze al Vapore are simple yet delicious mussels steamed with garlic, white wine, and herbs, bringing out their natural briny flavor.
Ingredients
• Fresh mussels: 2 lbs (900 g), cleaned
• Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
• Olive oil: 3 tbsp
• White wine: ½ cup (120 ml)
• Fresh parsley: 2 tbsp, chopped
• Lemon wedges: for serving
Instructions
1️⃣ • Heat olive oil in a large pot and sauté garlic until fragrant.
2️⃣ • Add mussels and white wine.
3️⃣ • Cover and steam for 5–7 minutes until mussels open.
4️⃣ • Discard any that remain closed.
5️⃣ • Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
6️⃣ • Serve hot with lemon wedges and bread.
