Anyome love homemade Buttermilk Biscuits? I do like my mom did roll them in my hand… no cutter. So good!
Recipe….my mom never measured but this is apx. Of what I use…. I use about 2 cups of self rising White Lily Flour, a stick of cold butter graded, 1.5 cups of buttermilk buttermilk… ( I add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda snd baking powder in addition)
I bake at 450, in a iron skillet with a little oil in the bottom.,
You know it’s more about the technique. I’ve made biscuits like Brenda Gantt using Crisco, I’ve used oil love them all but I think these are my fav.
