- 1 cup fruit juice (your choice of flavor)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons gelatin powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar (plus extra for rolling)
- 1/2 cup water
- Cornstarch for dusting (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a small saucepan, combine the fruit juice, lemon juice, and water. Heat over medium heat until warm, but do not boil.

3. Stir in the granulated sugar and continue heating until the mixture is fully combined and the sugar dissolves.
4. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
5. Pour the mixture into a silicone mold or a lightly greased baking dish to create your desired gumdrop shape.
6. Allow the mixture to set at room temperature for several hours, or until firm. You can also place it in the refrigerator to speed up the setting process.
7. Once set, remove the gumdrops from the mold or cut them into cubes if using a baking dish.
8. Roll each gumdrop in granulated sugar, coating them evenly. Optionally, dust with cornstarch to prevent sticking.
