Banana Bread Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mashed bananas (about 3 bananas)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened (for frosting)
- 1 bar (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Instructions:
1️⃣ Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9x13 baking dish by spraying it with cooking spray. Set aside.
2️⃣ In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar using a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
3️⃣ Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Mix until combined and creamy.
4️⃣ Gradually add flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing on low speed until just combined.
5️⃣ Stir in mashed bananas gently until incorporated. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
6️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for 25-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
7️⃣ For the Cream Cheese Frosting: In a separate large bowl, beat together the butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and heavy cream, and beat on low speed until combined, then increase speed to medium until frosting is thick and smooth.
8️⃣ Once the cake is cool, frost it with the cream cheese frosting. You can serve immediately or cover and let sit overnight at room temperature before frosting.
