Skillet Chicken Alfredo Tortellini

Ingredients:

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 (9 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Salt to taste

Directions:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
Add the cheese tortellini to the skillet and cook according to the package instructions, about 3–4 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure the tortellini is coated in the creamy sauce.
Once the tortellini is cooked, stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
Taste the sauce and add salt if needed.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
