🇫🇷 Piperade (Basque Pepper Stew) 🌶️
A colorful stew from Basque country—sweet peppers, ripe tomatoes, and smoky ham topped with a sunny egg!
Ingredients:
• 2 red bell peppers
• 2 green bell peppers
• 300g tomatoes
• 1 onion
• 2 garlic cloves
• 100g Bayonne ham or prosciutto
• 4 eggs (optional)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Sauté chopped peppers, onion, and garlic in olive oil until soft.
2️⃣ Add peeled chopped tomatoes, cook down into a rich stew.
3️⃣ Stir in sliced ham. Optionally, top with a fried or poached egg before serving.
