Orange Blender Cake recipe that's quick, easy, and packed with fresh orange flavor. The whole orange (peel and all) is blended into the batter, giving it an intense citrus kick.

Orange Blender Cake

Prep Time: 10 min
Bake Time: 40–45 min
Yield: 8–10 servings
Oven Temp: 180°C / 350°F

Ingredients:

1 medium orange (seedless, with thin skin – e.g., navel or Valencia)

3 large eggs

1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar

1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil (or melted butter)

1 1/2 cups (190 g) all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

Prep the Orange:
Wash and cut the orange into chunks (keep the peel, but remove seeds and the tough core if needed).

Blend Wet Ingredients:
In a blender, add orange chunks, eggs, sugar, oil, and vanilla. Blend until smooth.

Add Dry Ingredients:
Pour the blended mixture into a bowl. Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix gently until combined.

Bake:
Pour into a greased and floured 8-inch round or loaf pan.
Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool & Serve:
Let cool in pan for 10 mins, then transfer to a rack. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with orange glaze if desired.

Tips:

You can also add orange zest if using a less flavorful orange.

Substitute 1/4 cup of flour with almond flour for a nutty twist.

For extra moistness, brush with orange syrup right after baking.
