🍤 Creamy Cajun Shrimp Flatbread Pizza 🧄🌶️🍕
📌 Ingredients:
For the Flatbread Base:
2 pieces of naan or flatbread
1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
Cajun Cream Sauce:
1 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
Salt to taste
For the Shrimp:
1/2 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Dash of lemon juice
Toppings:
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup broccoli florets (blanched or steamed)
1/4 red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
Optional: red pepper flakes, parsley for garnish
👨🍳 Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the Shrimp
Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning, paprika, and a squeeze of lemon.
Sear in a skillet with olive oil or butter for 2–3 mins per side. Set aside.
Step 2: Make the Cajun Cream Sauce
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add cream and bring to a simmer.
Stir in Parmesan and Cajun seasoning. Simmer until slightly thickened.
Step 3: Build the Flatbread
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Brush flatbreads with a bit of olive oil.
Spread a layer of the Cajun cream sauce on each flatbread.
Add mozzarella and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
Top with shrimp, broccoli, and sliced bell peppers.
Step 4: Bake
Bake on a sheet pan for 8–10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly with golden edges.
Step 5: Garnish & Serve
Sprinkle with chopped parsley or red pepper flakes and serve hot! 🌶️✨
