Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches 🍓😋
✅Ingredients:
8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup (30g) powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
8 slices of bread (white or brioche works best)
1 cup (150g) fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
2 large eggs
1/4 cup (60ml) milk
1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream (for extra richness, optional)
Butter or oil (for frying)
✅Instructions:
Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the Sandwiches:
Spread a generous layer of the cheesecake mixture on four slices of bread.
Evenly distribute the sliced strawberries over the cheesecake layer.
Top with the remaining slices of bread to make sandwiches.
Prepare the Coating:
In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
In another shallow bowl, place the flour.
In a separate plate, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon.
Coat the Sandwiches:
Lightly coat each sandwich with flour, making sure all sides are covered.
Dip each sandwich into the egg-milk mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated but not soggy.
Fry the Sandwiches:
Heat butter or oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Fry each sandwich for about 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the pan and immediately coat in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Serve & Enjoy:
Slice the sandwiches in half or into sticks for easier eating.
Optionally, drizzle with heavy cream or serve with whipped cream.
