Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
12 oz egg noodles
1 large onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
1 cup beef broth
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
In a pot, cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add butter and onions, cooking until soft. Add garlic and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are soft.
Sprinkle flour over the mushroom mixture and stir to combine. Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring continuously until it thickens.
Lower the heat and stir in sour cream until well combined. Add the beef back to the skillet.
Serve the beef and sauce over the cooked noodles and garnish with chopped parsley.
