Ingredients:
2 cups fresh or frozen peaches
1/4 cup pure honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons gelatin powder
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions:
Prepare the Peaches: If using fresh peaches, peel and chop them into chunks. For frozen peaches, allow them to thaw slightly before use.
Blend the Base: In a blender, combine the peaches, honey (or maple syrup), water, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if needed.
Dissolve the Gelatin: Pour the blended peach mixture into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the top and let it sit for 2-3 minutes to "bloom." This step ensures the gelatin dissolves properly.
Heat Gently: Place the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is fully dissolved and the mixture is warm but not boiling. Avoid high heat to preserve the nutrients in the peaches.
Mold the Gummies: Carefully pour the mixture into silicone molds (ring-shaped or any design you prefer). Tap the molds gently on the counter to remove air bubbles.
