🇮🇹 Focaccia di Recco (Cheese-Stuffed Focaccia) 🧀❤️
Crispy, thin, and filled with oozy cheese – a Ligurian treasure!
📝 You will need:
• 250 g all-purpose flour
• 130 ml water
• 20 ml olive oil
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 200 g Stracchino or Crescenza cheese
👩🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Mix flour, water, olive oil, and salt to form a soft dough. Let rest 1 hour.
2️⃣ Divide into two parts, roll out very thin sheets.
3️⃣ Place one sheet on a baking tray, add dollops of cheese, and cover with the second sheet.
4️⃣ Seal the edges, brush with oil, and bake at 230°C (450°F) for 10–12 minutes.
5️⃣ Slice and enjoy warm with the cheese melting inside!
