🍳 BISCUITS & GRAVY CASSEROLE
Ingredients:
1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
1 lb breakfast sausage
2 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
2️⃣ Cut biscuit dough into quarters and spread evenly in the dish.
3️⃣ In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned. Do not drain.
4️⃣ Sprinkle flour over sausage, stir to coat, and cook for 1 minute.
5️⃣ Slowly whisk in milk. Cook and stir until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
6️⃣ Pour sausage gravy over the biscuit pieces.
7️⃣ Top with shredded cheese, if using.
8️⃣ Bake for 25–30 minutes or until biscuits are golden and cooked through.
