This recipe features juicy grilled peaches complemented by a tangy balsamic glaze and a sprinkle of fresh mint. A simple yet elegant dessert or side dish!
Ingredients:
2 ripe but firm peaches, halved and pitted
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon olive oil
Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your grill to medium heat. Clean the grates to prevent sticking.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, honey (or maple syrup), and olive oil.
3. Brush the cut sides of the peach halves with the balsamic mixture.
4. Place the peach halves, cut-side down, on the preheated grill.
5. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or until grill marks appear and the peaches are tender but still hold their shape. You may need to adjust grilling time depending on the heat of your grill and the ripeness of your peaches.
6. Remove the peaches from the grill and let them cool slightly.
7. Drizzle the remaining balsamic mixture over the grilled peach halves.
8. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired.
9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
