Pork Chop Supreme
Ingredients:
For the Pork Chops:
• 4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
• 1 Tbsp olive oil
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp paprika
For the Sauce:
• 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 1/2 tsp thyme (optional)
• 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Prepare the Pork Chops:
o Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Season the pork chops on both sides
with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Sear the Pork Chops:
o In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear
the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side, until browned. Remove the
pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
o In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until
softened. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, and
thyme. Cook until the sauce is smooth and heated through.
Bake the Pork Chops:
o Return the seared pork chops to the skillet, spoon the sauce over them,
and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top. Transfer the skillet to
the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pork chops
are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
