SPICY CAJUN BEEF IN CREAMY PARMESAN RIGATONI PASTA

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
12 oz rigatoni pasta
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped (for extra flavor and color)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

Directions:

Cook the rigatoni pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Season the ground beef with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
Stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and sun-dried tomatoes, bringing it to a simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with red pepper flakes (if desired) for an added kick.
Add the cooked rigatoni pasta to the skillet, tossing it in the creamy sauce to coat.
Once the pasta is fully coated, garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
