Cheesy Bacon Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
6 slices bacon, chopped
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
Chopped green onions or pickles (optional for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside. Drain excess grease, leaving about 1 tablespoon in the skillet.
Add diced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes, then add garlic and cook for another minute.
Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in mustard, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, cheddar cheese soup, sour cream, half the shredded cheese, and cooked bacon. Season with salt and pepper.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Top evenly with tater tots.
Bake uncovered for 35 minutes, then sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake for another 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Garnish with chopped green onions or diced pickles, if desired.
