🌶️ Creamy Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta
Tender chicken and juicy shrimp tossed in a bold Cajun cream sauce over pasta — a restaurant-style dish you can make at home!
📝 Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts, sliced
8 oz large shrimp, peeled & deveined
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (divided)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz penne or fettuccine pasta
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
🔥 Directions:
Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Season the chicken and shrimp with 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning each.
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Add shrimp to the same skillet and cook until pink and curled, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside with the chicken.
In the same pan, melt butter, then add garlic and sauté 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add Parmesan cheese and let the sauce simmer 3–4 minutes until thickened. Add salt, pepper, and extra Cajun seasoning to taste.
Return the chicken and shrimp to the pan, add cooked pasta and tomatoes (if using), and toss to coat in the sauce.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot!
