Brownie-Cookie Brookies
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
3. Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder to the butter mixture. Mix until just combined.
4. Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan.
5. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over the brownie batter, distributing them evenly.
6. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the cookie dough into the brownie batter, creating a marbled effect.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
8. Let cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
