Garlic Parmesan Chicken Strips
Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside—these oven-baked (or air-fried) chicken strips are packed with bold garlic flavor and coated in a savory Parmesan crust. Perfect for dinner, game day, or dipping and snacking anytime.
Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 large eggs
1 tbsp milk
Optional: chopped parsley and extra Parmesan for garnish
Dipping sauces: ranch, marinara, or garlic aioli
Instructions:
Preheat oven: Set to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Spray with cooking spray.
Prepare dredging stations:
In one bowl, whisk eggs and milk.
In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Coat chicken: Dip each chicken strip into the egg wash, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture. Place on the wire rack.
Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
Optional air fryer method: Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 12–14 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
