Zuppa Inglese is an Italian layered dessert made with sponge cake, custard, chocolate, and liqueur-soaked layers.

Ingredients

• 1 sponge cake, sliced
• 3 cups custard cream
• 1 cup chocolate cream
• ½ cup Alchermes liqueur

Instructions

1️⃣ Dip sponge cake slices in liqueur.
2️⃣ Place one layer at the bottom of a dish.
3️⃣ Spread custard cream, then chocolate cream.
4️⃣ Repeat layering until dish is full.
5️⃣ Chill for 2 hours before serving.
