Creamy Orange Dessert
Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp orange zest
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp gelatin (optional, for thicker texture)
Fresh mint or orange slices (optional, for garnish)
Preparation:
In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over 1 tbsp water and let sit for 5 minutes (if using).
In a saucepan, heat orange juice, sugar, and orange zest over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
If using gelatin, add it to the warm orange mixture and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat.
In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with vanilla until soft peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the orange mixture until smooth.
Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
Garnish with fresh mint or orange slices if desired.
