Garlic Butter Steak Medallions & Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

For Steak:

3 steak medallions (beef tenderloin or sirloin)

Salt & pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic (minced)

Fresh parsley (chopped)

For Mashed Potatoes:

3 large potatoes (peeled & diced)

2 tbsp butter

¼ cup milk (warm)

Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender. Drain, then mash with butter and warm milk. Season with salt and pepper.

2. Season steaks with salt and pepper.

3. Sear steaks in olive oil in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side.

4. Add butter and garlic, basting steaks for extra flavor. Cook to desired doneness.

5. Plate mashed potatoes, top with butter and chopped parsley. Serve with steak and pan juices.
