Delicious and Super Moist Chocolate Cake from Scratch
Recipe:
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup dark cocoa powder (I use Hersheys dark)
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup apple sauce
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup avocado oil
Frosting: chocolate pudding mix
Preheat oven to 350 F (177 C). Prepare a 2–8 or 9 inch cake pan.
In a large bowl, add all dry ingredients and mix well. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, add oil and eggs. Beat together until creamy. Add milk, vanilla, apple sauce. Mix well to combine. Then, add the dry ingredients. Mix with spatula until smooth and combine.
Divide the batter into 2 cake pans (I use 8 inch round pans).
Bake for 22-25 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and let it cool.
You can eat it plain or add frosting.
Put the cake together. I use chocolate pudding mix to make it super moist. Enjoy!
