Savory Creamy Beef and Shells

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
12 oz shell pasta
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Directions:

Cook the shell pasta according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 3-4 minutes to combine the flavors.
Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes until the sauce reduces slightly.
Stir in the heavy cream, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheeses melt and the sauce becomes creamy.
Add the cooked shell pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the creamy sauce.
Serve warm, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
