Seafood Pasta with Shrimp & Crab
Ingredients:
12 oz linguine or fettuccine
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 lb lump crab meat
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Additional Parmesan for serving
Directions:
Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
Lower heat, add butter and heavy cream to the skillet. Simmer gently for 3 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add cooked pasta, crab meat, and shrimp to the skillet. Toss gently to coat everything in the sauce.
Cook for 1–2 more minutes until heated through.
Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.
