Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1/2 cup Milky Way candy bars, chopped
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and 2 cups sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla extract, beating well.
3. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
5. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, and egg yolk until smooth.
6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter in the pan.
7. Sprinkle chopped Milky Way candy bars evenly over the cream cheese layer.
8. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top, spreading gently.
9. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top layer and use a knife to swirl it into the batter.
10. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs.
11. Cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
