Chewy and Flaky Brownies
Ingredients:
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 500g chocolate bar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup glucose or condensed milk
- 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder
- 2 cups all-purpose Pilmico flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup nuts or chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Melt the butter and chocolate bar together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
3. Stir in the brown sugar until well combined.
4. Add salt, vanilla extract, and glucose or condensed milk; mix thoroughly.
5. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
6. Sift the dark cocoa powder and all-purpose flour into the wet mixture and gently fold until just combined.
7. Fold in the nuts or chocolate chips.
8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
10. Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing.
