🇫🇷 Pot-au-Feu
A classic French boiled beef dish with vegetables.
Ingredients:
• 800g beef chuck (cut into large chunks)
• 300g carrots (peeled, cut into chunks)
• 2 leeks (cleaned, cut into sections)
• 2 potatoes (peeled, halved)
• 1 celery stalk (cut)
• 1 onion (whole, peeled)
• 2L water
• 2 bay leaves
• Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions:
Place beef in a large pot, cover with water, bring to a boil.
Skim foam, add all vegetables, bay leaves, salt and pepper.
Simmer on low heat for 2 hours.
Serve hot with broth and mustard.
