Garlic Butter Shrimp and Scallops with Broccoli 🦐🦑🥦

Ingredients:
- 6-8 sea scallops, patted dry
- 10-12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for a spicy kick

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Broccoli:
Start by steaming the broccoli florets for about 4-5 minutes until they are bright green and tender. Alternatively, you can roast the broccoli in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C). Toss the florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and roast them for 15-18 minutes until they are slightly crispy and golden.

2. Sear the Scallops:
In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Season the scallops with salt and pepper, then carefully place them in the hot pan. Sear for about 2 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and opaque. Once done, remove the scallops from the pan and set them aside on a plate.

3. Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and the peeled shrimp. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Sauté the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and are fully cooked.

4. Add Garlic and Lemon:
Lower the heat and add the remaining tablespoon of butter along with the minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly to avoid burning the garlic. After the garlic is fragrant, stir in the lemon juice and return the seared scallops to the pan. Heat everything together for an additional minute.

5. Serve:
Plate the cooked shrimp and scallops alongside the steamed or roasted broccoli. Spoon the flavorful garlic butter mixture over the seafood. For an extra touch, sprinkle red pepper flakes or fresh herbs on top if desired. Enjoy your delicious meal!
