Keto Cream Cheese Danish
Flaky, creamy, and low-carb-your bakery fave made keto!
Ingredients:
Dough:
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella
2 tosp cream cheese
1 cup almond flour
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
Filling:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp powdered erythritol
½ tsp vanilla extract
Optional Topping:
2 tosp sugar-free jam or fresh berries
Instructions:
Step 1: Make the Dough
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Melt mozzarella and cream cheese together until smooth. Stir in almond flour, baking powder, and egg. Knead into a dough.
Step 2: Form Danishes
Divide into 4 pieces. Flatten each into a round disc with a slight well in the center. Place on a lined baking sheet.
Step 3: Add Filling
Mix filling ingredients and spoon into the center of each danish. Add a bit of jam or berries if desired.
Step 4: Bake & Cool
Bake 15-18 min until golden. Let cool slightly before enjoying.
