Pecan Dump Cake
A rich, buttery dessert layered with pecans, cake mix, and a sweet, gooey center—this pecan dump cake is incredibly easy to make with just a few pantry staples and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
1 can (21 ounces) pecan pie filling
1 box (15.25 ounces) yellow cake mix
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spread the pecan pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pecan pie filling, ensuring it covers the filling completely.
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, making sure to cover as much surface area as possible.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans and cinnamon (if using) over the top.
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
