Ingredients:
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 to 4 tablespoons milk
- Frosting and sprinkles (for decorating)

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
4. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the butter mixture. If the dough is too crumbly, add milk one tablespoon at a time until the dough holds together.
5. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass or your hand.
6. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden. Let cool on wire racks.
7. Decorate with icing and sprinkles once the cookies are completely cool.
