🇫🇷 Poulet Basquaise (Basque Chicken)
Juicy chicken simmered with sweet peppers and ripe tomatoes—colorful and bold in flavor.
Ingredients:
• 4 chicken thighs
• 1 cup tomatoes, diced
• 1 bell pepper, sliced
• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tsp paprika
• Olive oil, salt, pepper
Instructions:
1. Brown chicken in olive oil and set aside.
2. Sauté onions, garlic, and bell pepper until soft.
3. Add tomatoes and paprika; simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Return chicken to the pan, cover, and cook 25–30 min.
5. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with crusty bread.
