Bangers and Mash with Onion Gravy
Ingredients:
4–6 sausages (beef or pork)
4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 tbsp butter
¼ cup milk
Salt & pepper to taste
1 large onion, sliced
2 tbsp flour
2 cups beef broth
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Fresh parsley (optional)
Directions:
1. Boil potatoes until soft (15–20 mins). Mash with butter, milk, salt & pepper.
2. Cook sausages in a skillet until browned and cooked through.
3. In the same skillet, sauté onions until soft. Add flour, stir 1 min.
4. Gradually add broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until thickened.
5. Serve sausages over mash, topped with onion gravy and parsley.
