3 tbsp cornstarch

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup white sugar

6 tbsp brown sugar

1/2 cup soft (room temp) butter

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate chips or chunks (about 1 cup or to taste)

Mix flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and sugars in a bowl.

Beat in the butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth.

Fold in chocolate chips or chunks.

Scoop and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes. Let cool slightly
